The HMS-1 Hidden Microwave Sensor uses "radar" technology to detect any mass density motion/movement within its field of detection. Detection produces a contact closure to activate a Digital Audio Announcer. The HMS-1 is highly reliable and it resists false activations due to environmental conditions plaguing many other sensors.
Its small size allows the HMS-1 Hidden Microwave Sensor to be mounted almost anywhere. Microwave/Radar technology does not require line of sight like infrared motion detection units. This allows the HMS-1 Hidden Microwave Sensor to be concealed behind plastic, wood, fiberglass, cloth, glass, etc and not affect the aesthetics of your installation or display.
Sensitivity can easily be set from "direct contact" up to a distance of several feet.
The HMS-1's minimal power requirement often allows it to share the 12VDC power supply of other devices in some installation applications.
NOTE: Some digital announcers can not accept any electrical current though their "dry contact closure" and will require a seperate relay switch which isolates any voltage pass-thru when the HMS-1 is activated. See additonal pricing below.

Each Fununciator Digital Audio System is capable of producing up to 8 distinct and separate sound effects. A child's motion activates up to 8 seperate surface mount "radar" sensors that are concealed inside/under the play area. Each Fununciator Audio System utilizes solid-state digital memory announcers, comes with a (2) watt amplifier and has a (3) year warranty.
